Settings
In the side panel, you have a settings button that leads you to a page where you can configure your user profile, organization information, notification settings as well as the risk thresholds your organization uses and which data it shares with whom.
You can always change your user profile and notification settings. The organization-level settings, however, can only be changed by the owner of an organization. If you’re not the owner, you can still inspect them, but not edit them.
Notification settings
In the notification settings, you can define what type of notification should be sent to you via email.
Note that we do not provide daily-digest emails yet, so the number of “New CDM” notifications might be huge, depending on the number of CDMs you expect for your satellites.
Risk assessment thresholds
You can change the standard thresholds that are used to determine the risk of a conjunction. By default, total miss distance and collision probability are considered, but you can also choose to consider radial distance and disregard any of the others.
If the collision probability provided by a CDM is greater than or equal to the critical threshold, i.e. the maximal accepted collision probability, the conjunction event counts as critical.
If the collision probability provided by a CDM is greater than or equal to the observe threshold but less than the critical threshold, then the conjunction event counts as observe (meaning it is close enough to being critical to keep an eye on it).
If the total miss distance or radial distance provided by a CDM is less than the critical threshold critical, i.e. the minimal accepted miss distance, the conjunction event counts as critical.
If the total miss distance or radial distance provided by a CDM is less than the observe threshold but greater than or equal to the critical threshold, the conjunction event counts as observe (meaning it is close enough to being critical to keep an eye on it).
The distance thresholds are given in meters.
Note that any of the thresholds you use is enough to determine risk. For example, if the calculated miss distance is lower than the critical threshold, the conjunction counts as critical independent of the collision probability. And vice versa, if the calculated collision probability is greater than the critical threshold, the conjunction counts as critical independent of the miss distance.
Data sharing settings
You can change which data (ephemerides and maneuver plans) your organization agrees to share with which other operators.
The default setting is that no data is shared. In this case, you can whitelist specific organizations with whom you do want to share data; they will then be able to download your ephemerides or maneuver plans, while every one else cannot.
You can also change the default to sharing data with everyone, possibly blacklisting specific organizations whom you don’t want to see your data.
User profile
You can access your user profile on the top right corner of OKAPI:Astrolabe. By clicking on it, you have the option to log out. In case you are associated with multiple organizations, you can switch between the desired organizations to see only the conjunctions events related to that organization.
